Latest Brew

7/7/2017- And we're back on the ole web.  I know it's been a while since we've yapped at yall here, but we haven't been resting on our laurels during that time.  No sir.  We're pleased to announce we officially have a new album in the works, and by works I mean in the recording phase.  We were planning to release "Another Round" as an EP but things out out of hand in the writing department and we emerged with 9 brand spanking new tunes.  So the EP has become an Extended EP, a Maxi-EP, or plain and simple an album.  This one is going to feature the stripped down Brewers goodness of "One Drink Minimum" with a special guest sitting in to really get the acoustic party going.  We're planning on dropping "Another Round" around the middle of September if everything goes as planned, and we're working on having a release party for it as well.  So stay tuned, fresh Panhandle Blues is coming soon.

3/26/2017- And Spring has sprung here in the Brewpub.  Sorry for not yapping earlier, but that garden ain't going to plant itself.  Got them peppers and tomatoes ready to go, so it's time to get back to playing.  We've got a couple of great shows coming up in the next few weeks.  First up is the Groove in Brewton, AL on April 1 (no fooling) with our friends in Little Delta.  It's Nicky's birthday so come on out and give her a big ole hug.  The following Saturday, April 8, we'll be making our debut at the Vinyl Music Hall in Pensacola, FL opening for Chris Thomas King.  You don't want to miss that one for sure.  There's also a rumor we might be doing an in-store set at the Music Box in Pensacola April 22 for Record Store Day with a special guest as well.  Stay tuned for that.  And to top all of that off there's a new album in the works.  These songs just won't stop coming.  Hopefully we'll see you out at a show next, grab a hold of us and say hi.  In the meantime get out there and get some dirt on your hands.

2/5/2017- Well folks, down here in our parts Pensacola Pat (our new unofficial mullet posing as a groundhog) just jumped out of the water and saw his shadow, and you know what that means.  That's right, six more hours of winter for the Panhandle.  But more importantly, it's Mardi Gras time!  I just had my first piece of king cake for the season, and I can guarantee it won't be my last.  In the spirit of Carnival we went ahead and put the forks down long enough to record our version of "Mardi Gras Mambo", a standard around here.  You can swing on by the On Tap page and have a listen at your leisure.  We're even going to let you take it with you as a free download, how's that for a throw.  Well, I'm going to have to keep this one short, got ribs in the smoker and a little thing called the Super Bowl to watch.  Maybe I'll have a hurricane with the game.

1/5/2017- Well what do you know, we made it here another year.  Got to apologize for not getting back sooner.  This time of year we try to spend as much time as we can with family and friends.  Not to mention there's a lot going on behind the scenes here.  We're working hard to get back out there on the stage soon, and plans are still a go for a new release around the middle of April.  In the meantime swing on by the On Tap page and get your last taste of Christmas.  We've still got a special tune available to stream, and you can even download it for free.  But do it now, we've got plans for a new brew to hit the tap VERY soon (as in the next two weeks).  And what flavor are we serving?  Not trying to give it away, but we'll definitely be "throwing you something mister" in the Taproom.  Sorry to keep this so short, got to get back to the world of emails and condenser mics.  And string snappin', always snappin' dem strings.

11/29/2016 - We're all wrapped up with the turkey and napping, so that leaves only one thing to do.  That's right, we jumped up in the attic and pulled down all the decorations.  It's definitely looking a bit like Christmas around these parts of the old web.  Now we know that you've been good this year, well at least as good as can be expected.  So to celebrate the nice over naughty we're going to give you an early gift.  You're still going to have to wait until December 1st to open it, but it's going to be available to unwrap at the On Tap page in just a few days.  And speaking of giving, why not swing on out to the First City Arts Center in Pensacola, Florida this Saturday, December 3rd, and bring a whole sled full of non-perishable food items.  And you can enjoy some great bands in the process, including us Brew-Elves.  We're hoping to see you there.
